Adult assessments are not covered by insurance, and are a significant financial investment. A comprehensive evalaution by a psychiatrist or psychologist can cost up to $2000. Given how financially inaccessible evaluations can be, I provide specific assessments for high masking adults that are not comprehensive psychological or neuropsychological evaluations. A minimum of 5-6 hours is spent completing the average autism assessment, while it takes 8-9 hours for a combined assessment.

A general breakdown of the cost for the assessments includes:

• 1-2 hours of evaluator time in administrative time including setting up the client chart, sending all documents, forms, and assessments, and analyzing & organizing the information gathered from the client

• 90-minutes of telehealth diagnostic interview with client (2 90-minute sessions for the combined assessment) 

• 1-2 hours of report and recommendation compiling and writing (more for the combined assessment)

• 30-minute telehealth feedback session with client to review outcomes and recommendations and answer any questions
